At 6’3, Chase Rackers is an athletic combo guard who brings explosiveness, skill, and IQ to the floor. His 42 inch vertical makes him a threat to finish above the rim and allows him to rebound at a high level for his position. On offense, he scores consistently at all three levels. He shot 55% from the field and 43.5% from beyond the arc this past Junior season. He constantly proves that he can be efficient while carrying scoring responsibilities.

Chase can create shots off the dribble, space the floor with his perimeter jumper, and attack the paint with crafty finishes. He also distributes the ball effectively, averaging 3.5 APG and grabs loose boards putting up 4.8 RPG. Defensively, Chase brings energy and versatility, using his length and quickness to guard multiple positions.

The Southern Boone leader earned MBCA All-District, All-Conference, Central Missouri Media All-District, and KMZU Dream Team honors in only his third year. Expect him to repeat these titles and achieve higher this upcoming Senior season.

This summer he played on the NXTPRO Circuit with CoMo TNT where he excelled at going up against some top competition across the nation. He gained interest and exposure as he is currently ranked 25th in the State by Prep Hoops, a huge honor to hold.

Off the court, his 3.98 GPA demonstrates great discipline and dedication. His communication and respect with scouts like myself does deserve recognition as well. He’s a guy you’d want on your program to uplift the energy on the court and in the classroom.

Looking ahead, Chase enters his senior season with tons of momentum and confidence. Southern Boone expects to contend for conference and district champions. He will play a pivotal role in getting his squad there.

Scholarship offers have already poured in for Rackers as he holds 10 from Culver Stockton, Fisher College, Illinois College, Webster University, Coe College, Simpson College, Westminister, Puget Sound, Illinois Tech, and Dean College. Chase is very capable of playing at the next level and the D2 mark is soon to come.
